Digital Citizenship Resources.....

Some resources for looking at Digital Citizenship with students

12 Things Students should do on Social Media (adults too!)  These ideas could be some good starters for discussions with students.

Edmondo's Digital Citizenship Resource Kit is available from here.  Has downloadable PDF's that may be useful with students or can be used to glean ideas for working in the classroom.

This site has some resources and videos you might like to use for background for yourself or with students.

Wiki Educator Digital Citizenship project - still a work in progress but plenty of resources (NZ led)

The mysterious workings of the adolescent brain

An interesting video about current brain research .....

Why do teenagers seem so much more impulsive, so much less self-aware than grown-ups? Cognitive neuroscientist Sarah-Jayne Blakemore compares the prefrontal cortex in adolescents to that of adults, to show us how typically “teenage” behavior is caused by the growing and developing brain.
